Thrillist.com Names Maine’s Best Movie Ever Set in Maine

With so many great movies set in Maine…what could Thrillist.com choice be? It was….’Hot Wet American Summer’.  Ya…I had not heard of it either.

WHY?  I mean there are other movies. ‘Cider House Rules’ or maybe ‘The Shawshank Redemption’.  Some states had great choices other were campy choices…like Maine.

‘Hot Wed American Summer’ did not do well at the box office; it got enough of a cult following that Netflix sighned the cast backup for a prequel miniseries.
