Facebook has announced they will use information from other websites to target their advertising to your page!  There is a way to opt out of the NEW date gathering system.  Here we go:

First…go to the Digital Advertising Alliance. They list of all the companies that track your browsing to deliver tailored ads. Find ‘Facebook’ under Companies Customizing Ads For Your Browser and check off the check to the right, hit 'Submit' and you are set. You have to do it on all your browsers.

Second… unless you have an ad blocker, you'll never get Facebook to completely stop this, but you some options.  Over the next several weeks, Facebook will let you options in and out of interests. When this feature is available, I understand we will have some say on what we see by clicking or tapping the gray arrow in the top-right corner of the ad and then going to "Why am I seeing this?" From there, you'll be able to edit your list of interests.

As a last ditch effort…you can delete your Facebook page! But really, who wants to do that! Not me. Besides, I don't believe it will make much of a difference.
