15-Year-Old Maine Girl Struck By Car & Pinned Underneath, Taken By LifeFlight in Critical Condition
A 15-year-old girl from Maine is listed in critical condition as of Monday morning following a car vs pedestrian crash that happened on Friday night.
According to WGME 13, police were called to the intersection of High Street and Island Avenue in Sanford, Maine on Friday night.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, they found the 15-year-old pinned underneath the car that had struck her. Working quickly, first responders were able to get the girl out from underneath the car.
At that time, the girl was taken to a waiting helicopter and transported to Maine Medical Center. According to WGME, the girl has been listed in critical condition. Her name is still unavailable.
At this time, there is no new information in regards to what may have led to the collision or if the driver of the car was at fault in the crash or not.
