16-Year Old Girls Sentenced in Cat in Microwave Incident

Last September two South Portland, ME teenage girls posted a video of them putting a cat inside a microwave. The cat involved was not harmed. The girls now know their punishment.

The 16-year olds were sentenced today (Aug. 26) to 100 hours of community service. They were found guilty of cruelty to animals. The names of the girls were not disclosed because they are juveniles.
