Fortunately, it appears as though everyone is going to be okay. However, it was a scary day on the water in Manchester yesterday as Lydia Klenova, Russell Lamer and their 3-year old son were hit by a 20-foot powerboat yesterday afternoon.

According to the KJ, 73-year old John Rubinstein had just stopped to drop off a water skier and was boating away from the shore when he struck the 3 people in kayaks. Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife indicated it was thanks to their life jackets that they didn't sustain major injuries or death. Everyone involved declined ambulance transport to the hospital.

According to authorities, the accident remains under investigation, however, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor.
