According to Jeanelle Demers' Facebook page, she's just a few faces away from the 200 face (painting) goal. And the portraits are beautiful!

The Sabattus artist is using her paintings to help pay off college debt she's accumulated and is doing it in a wonderfully creative and capitalistic way! Here's a description from her page:

I am painting 200 portraits of individuals in the community. I am currently accepting new commissions! I paint from photos and render the subject with life-like color in acrylic on canvas. You choose the photo and the size, and I will paint a portrait that will be cherished for a lifetime. Whether it be a couple, a child, or even a pet, a hand painted original portrait makes a creative and meaningful gift.
