After all you have been through in the last year you deserve a beach getaway, even if it is only for a couple nights.  Not a day trip to Popham Beach or Ogunquit Beach, an actual beach vacation.  Ya’ know…  Long walks in the surf, rides on the Ferris wheel, pizza from one of those vendor booths, and listening to live music at a beach bar.

So, what’s keeping you from booking a trip to Old Orchard Beach?  The cost?  The crowds?  The lack of parking?  If you plan your trip right, those things won't be an issue.

Instead of planning your trip for July or August, make plans to visit in late Spring.  You’ll avoid the crowds of speedo-wearing tourists and save some cash.

Honestly, you can get away for a lot less than you’d think.

On Airbnb, you can rent an entire condo starting at $130 per night.

Perfect for a quick getaway, the condo sleeps up to three (but,it might be a little crowded with three adults) and is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, The Brunswick, and Palace Playland.

The unit has a full kitchen, a common area porch (where you can enjoy the evening ocean breezes), coin-op laundry, high speed internet, two Roku-equipped TVs, and a parking space.

Of course, like many Airbnb offerings in touristy areas, the price fluctuates depending on the time of the year.  Throughout May, it is $130 per night.  In June, July, and August, the rate jumps to between $220 and $230 per night.  But, honestly, even at $230 a night, it is a really good deal.
