As a DJ for 92 Moose, I’ve had some incredible experiences, in the 3 years I have been here but interviewing Julia Gagnon and seven American Idol contestants at her final "Here in Maine" tour stop in Bangor? That was next level!

My wife, Janelle came as my videographer. We parked at the loading dock and were greeted by Julia’s manager, Michael who had our VIP passes waiting for us!

Walking through the back hallways that we see on video made it surreal.

We were shown the stage before the doors opened and you could already feel the magic in the air and the taste the music on your lips!

We ran into a local singer, Bella Ann backstage, she's a very talented young singer. Julia invited local artists along with Idol friends to be apart of this show. others include, the North Yarmouth Academy Choir and Higher Ground.

We peeked into one of the green rooms where the American Idol contestants were doing hair and makeup.

After introductions, they were just as amazing as they had seemed on the show.

Just before the show, we gathered in a green room, sitting in a half circle as Julia introduced her Idol friends. I was thrilled and nervous to be the only media there to interview these talented young stars.

It was fun learning how they admired each other’s styles and vocal abilities, forming a super close bond through their journeys.

Julia’s "Little Things" show marked the end of her Maine tour, and the energy at the Cross Insurance Center was electric.

Julia was all smiles, talking about what this tour meant to her.

"Ending my 'Here in Maine' tour at home just feels right," she said. "This journey has been incredible, and I’m grateful for all the love and support I’ve received."

The seven American Idol contestants added even more star power to the night. I chatted with, Roman Collins, Quintavious Johnson, Jennifer Jeffries, Kennedy Reid, Ajii, Kblocks, and Julia Gagnon.

The performances was on fire. If you missed it, it was memorialized via livestream, you can watch here.

My favorite part? Easy, we all did vocal warm ups together at the end of the interview. Here's a sneak peak.

Being able to capture the excitement and joy of this final show made the experience unforgettable.

Here’s to celebrating Maine’s talent, the music that brings us together, and our states sweetheart, Julia Gagnon for putting it all together.

I will be publishing the full interview via 92 Moose Facebook and Instagram soon, be on the lookout!
