‘American Pie’ Singer, Don McLean of Camden, Pleads Not Guilty to Domestic Violence Charge

Don McLean was arrested last month (Jan. 18) on a misdemeanor count of domestic violence. The singer/songwriter's attorney, Walter McKee, says McLean entered a not-guilty plea in writing and will not appear in court later this month on the 18th.

McLean's wife, after his arrest, filed a handwritten request for protection, that was later dismissed after they announced through their lawyer that they had "agreed to move forward."
