The First Lady of Maine is going to jump out of an Airplane. Ann LePage, the wife of Governor Paul LePage plans to skydive this weekend with members of an all-veteran parachute team. Joining her will be veteran Travis Mills, a quadruple amputee. This will be his second jump since his tragic incident in Afghanistan in 2012.

Mrs. LePage told the Bangor Daily News:

I have a fear of heights. I will get on the third rung of a ladder, and I won’t go any higher.

The two will jump in tandem, each strapped to a skydiver, on Aug. 9. It's part of 'Freedom Fest 2014.' That's a Fort Kent-based fundraising event for the Northern Maine Veterans Museum & Community Center.

What about the governor? Mrs. LePage says he plans on watching from the ground.
