Augusta PD Make Arrests Following Halloween Night Incident

According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, police made multiple arrests following a Water Street incident.

At around 7:30 PM last night (October 31st), police receive information that people were being held against their will at Apartment 6 of 36 Water Street in Augusta.

Arrested were:

Cinque Witherspoon, 19, of Albany NY on charges of Criminal Threatening

Shayla Davis, 28, of Albany NY on charges of Criminal Threatening

Jennifer Nisby, 41, of Augusta, on a charge of Class A Aggravated Trafficking Scheduled Drugs

Jess Legendre, 33, of Augusta, on an outstanding warrant for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument.

With the exception of Nisby, all had their bail set at $500.  Nisby's bail was set at $1,000.

More charges could be pending.
