Augusta Police Officer Featured On Inside Edition

Hats off to Augusta PD officer Ben Murtiff.  Following the Christmas Day storm, which dumped somewhere between 10" and 12" on Central Maine, he took the time to shovel out Betsy's, a downtown Augusta business.

For his good deed, he got national attention on Inside Edition

Sgt. Christian Behr told Inside Edition, “Mostly it’s gratifying when our folks will just be able to help out where needed, [Murtiff] did not ask for any recognition at all and was only trying to be helpful after the huge Christmas Day snowstorm.”
