Augusta Principal Gets Duct Taped To The Wall
On Tuesday, Sarah Landry, the principal of Augusta's Gilbert School, allowed herself to be duct taped to the wall of the school's gym.
Why?
It was all done as a reward for the students.
Over the course of two weeks, they held a school wide read-a-thon. Each day, the students noted how many minutes they read. Friends and family of the students pledged to donate a certain amount per minute read. Alternatively, they could choose to make a flat donation.
Money raised goes toward fun activities for the students.
Because they reached their goal, the principal agreed to let them duct tape her to a wall.
I wished we did fun stuff like this when I was in school!
