Huge Crowd for the Riverfront Holiday Tree Lighting + Fireworks in Augusta

Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks...what a day! The holidays have definitely arrived in Augusta. Congratulations to the City of Augusta and the Augusta Downtown Alliance. It was a fun family afternoon in the beautiful downtown of the capital.

Great job from all the performers, dancers and singers. (Tina Charest & Councilman Dan Emery, you sounded fabulous...and Dan, Mr. Spock wants those ears back!)

Santa made his arrival, and you could tell by the long wait to sit on his lap, that there were definitely many children excited to see the jolly ole elf.

The afternoon wrapped up with a fabulous fireworks display that amazed kids of all ages.
