Augusta’s Otto’s On The River Reopening
According to a post on their Facebook page, downtown Augusta eatery Otto's On The River is getting ready to reopen.
After spending a few weeks in the Spring, just as the coronavirus pandemic was ramping up in the State of Maine, being open day-to-day, the owners made the difficult decision to temporarily close. Throughout the summer, fans of the restaurant have been wondering when (if?) they'd reopen. Those who keep an eye on their Facebook page got to see the great news on Saturday afternoon, when the owners announced their reopening plan.
After a soft opening on Monday night, they will open on Wednesday (December 9th) with a revamped menu and a new Holiday cocktail menu. They plan to be open from 11 AM to 8 PM six days a week. They'll be closed on Mondays.
And now, the BIG announcement!! We're reopening! Starting Wednesday December 9th, we'll be open from 11am to 8pm six...

The casual fine dining restaurant's menu has, in the past, featured chicken marsala, lamb, filet mignon, and seared duck. I am really curious about what the revamped menu will feature.
In addition to being a great place to have lunch or dinner, the bar offers a great place to have a few drinks with friends. The Otto's mixologists are great at mixing up the classics (Manhattan, anyone?) and fresh new cocktails.
You can find them on Water Street in Augusta.
