Beds Will Roll in Brunswick [Sponsored Post]

On Saturday, Nov. 16, downtown Brunswick will be home to an unusual sight as beds will be rolling down the street.

It’s all part of the Brunswick Downtown Association’s 3d annual Rolling Slumber bed races, which will kick off with a pre-race parade down Park Row, across from the Brunswick Mall at 11 a.m., with the race heats starting at 11:10 a.m. Organizations, and clubs are invited to create a team and show off their best pjs and their stamina as they race decorated beds down the street. There will be prizes for the best overall entry and the timed race winner.

The race is part of the Brunswick Downtown Association’s annual Downtown Brunswick Early Bird sale, which starts at 6 a.m. Over 20 stores in downtown Brunswick will be open early and they will be offering special sales. There will be a bounce house and balloons for kids on the Brunswick Mall and the Eveningstar Cinema will be showing a special kids’ movie at 9 a.m.
