Blood & Platelet Donations needed in Wake of Hurricane Florence

Hurricanes cause a lot of problem and the American Red Cross always helps. They are helping with Hurricane Florence, providing food, shelter and comfort to those affected.  BUT you can help by donating at local blood and platelet drives. While the weather caused most drives to be cancelled in the hurricane area…the need for such products has not. So YOU are urged to help by giving blood or platelets to care for any hurricane victims and those receiving the blood and platelets for medical reason.

Can you donate?  RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

You can also help with financial donations are also needed and allow the Red Cross to provide disaster relief immediately. Help people affected by Hurricane Florence by visiting RedCross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting the word FLORENCE to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
