An 11 year old Gray-New Gloucester middle school student has been accused of making a bomb threat using a school issued computer.

Police said, the bomb threat was found on the printer/scanner in the school library at about 10 am.

Bomb sniffing dogs were brought in to search the school and nothing was found.

Police were able to track down where the threat came from and the 11 year old was identified, then his parents were notified.

Police arrested the child on a Class C terrorizing charge for causing the school’s evacuation, then released to his parents.

The boy will be arraigned on April 30th in Portland Unified Court. The incident has been handed over to the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office’s Juvenile Division for prosecution.
