The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Kennebec Valley in Gardnier has always worked hard to give back to communities that it serves.

Now after fund raising for over four years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Kennebec Valley has finally broken ground to begin building it's new clubhouse that will serve as a community center for both kids and elderly adults and almost triple the current capicity.

The Great Futures capital campaign is close to reaching it's goal but is still in need according to their Facebook page.

The ground breaking ceremony was attended by over 100 people all lending a hand for this wonderful acheivement. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Kennebec Valley recently signed withn Lajoie Brothers Inc to begin contruction.

The CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Kennebec Valley, Ingrid Stanchfield said:

“Our staff has been working tirelessly for several years, including during the pandemic to get to where we are today.”
