Celebrating 4 Years of Marriage With These Reasons Why I Love Her

Loving and living with someone isn't always easy. Especially when you're married to them. Honestly, there are days when it is straight-up difficult. Trying to navigate our full-time careers, our side-hustles, our 3 growing children all while maintaining some semblance of a social life and making time for 'us'. Yeah, it can be hard.

Now, don't get me wrong. I absolutely know that these challenges are not exclusive to our marriage and lifestyle. Couples all over the planet are dealing with these same exact stressors, too. But it's all about how you handle it, am I right? Personally, I try not to look at these hurdles as challenges, but more like opportunities. Opportunities to be a better parent, a better friend and a better husband. It's about learning how to handle the chaos of it all while becoming a better person for it on the other side.

Today, October 22nd 2020, my wife Keri and I will be celebrating our four year wedding anniversary. We won't be exchanging gifts (that I'm aware of!), we won't be getting a sitter and going out for the night, nor will we be doing anything outside of the everyday 'normal'. Okay, maybe we'll get some Canton Express before the Thursday night episode of Big Brother airs.
