Central Maine Men Charged After Multiple Break-Ins
According to a post from the Maine State Police Facebook Page, a pair of Benton men have been arrested and charged with burglary following multiple break-ins in Benton and Belgrade.
On the 19th of June, Maine State Troopers from Troop C executed a search warrant at 16 River Road, Apt 3, in Benton. This was done after authorities had gotten some intel on possible stolen property being at the apartment following a couple of local reported break-ins. The break-ins were both reported the same day and occurred at the Sticky Diamond marijuana dispensary in Rome on Route 225, and a second break in attempt was reported in Belgrade.
When police searched the apartment they were able to locate stolen property and take the two men into custody. 19 year old Scott Jordan and 19 year old Raheem Goodwin, both of Benton, were transported to the Kennebec County Jail are being held on $8,000 cash bail each.
