Maine State Police has released an update on the 55-year-old missing man of West Gardiner. As of last night, Michael Albert was found deceased.

Michael's wife, Heather Albert, reported him missing on Monday, and as per News Center Maine, was afraid he may have been experiencing a psychotic episode.

According to police, Michael was reported missing this Monday from a house on Arthur Street. His wife was with him during his psychotic episode, and she described him as being paranoid and disconnected from reality.

Maine State Police said, "it is with sadness that we share that Michael Albert was located deceased today. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time."
