A Local Church Brings Central Maine Together This Christmas
Christmas is a season celebrated by many, bringing people together in joy, reflection, and hope.
Each year, Central Church hosts meaningful Christmas services that bring together people from towns all across the region. It’s a chance to share the season side by side through uplifting worship music, praise, and a strong sense of community.
On Tuesday, December 23 at 4:00 PM or 7:00 PM, Central Maine’s biggest Christmas celebration will take place at the Augusta Civic Center. This event is completely free and open to everyone, with no tickets or registration required.
This celebration is for anyone, whether church is a regular part of life, it’s been a while, or someone is simply looking for something meaningful during the Christmas season. Hosted in a neutral and welcoming space, it’s designed to be comfortable for all who attend.
The evening will include live Christmas worship music and a hope-filled message centered on the true meaning of Christmas. Families, friends, neighbors, and individuals are all encouraged to come and be part of this special night.

There will also be a children’s program for nursery through age 10, along with a family photo booth, hot cocoa, and cookies to enjoy. Doors open one hour before each service, giving everyone time to arrive early and enjoy the atmosphere.
This Christmas celebration is a simple and meaningful way to slow down, connect with others, and share in the joy of the season.
