Customers Leave Big Tip For Augusta Waitress
If you've lived in Central Maine very long, there's a good chance you've made at least a few visits to Lisa's Restaurant and Lounge in Augusta. The restaurant, known for being open 365 days a year (366 on Leap Years), has a dedicated clientele and really dedicated staff.
One of those dedicated employees is Betsy Brown.
And, on Thursday afternoon, she got a big surprise. One of her tables left a massive tip!
The party of two, one of which is a regular at the heritage restaurant, had a bill of $101.83. The duo ended up tipping her $101.83. That's a 100% tip!

We aren't kidding when we say we have THE WORLD'S BEST CUSTOMERSPosted by Lisa's Restaurant & Catering on Thursday, October 1, 2020
In a time when we are all inundated with the negative, it's great to see such an act of generosity.
When you have the opportunity to go out for food or drinks, please keep in mind the waitstaff and bartenders at our local bars and restaurants. While we've all had a rough few months, the government ordered shutdowns have been extremely rough on service industry workers. While you don't need to tip 100%, please consider tipping a little more than you normally would.
