As the Patriots get ready to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday (November 17th), it good to see people can put rivalries aside to save a life.

According to CBS 3 in Philadelphia, an Eagles fan is on the road to recovery, thanks to a kidney from a Patriots fan.

Due to a hereditary disease, Eagles fan Patti Pizzimenti needed a kidney.  She waited on a donor list for two years.  She finally got her kidney thanks to an organ exchange at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.  Her daughter-in-law donated a kidney to someone in dire need.  In return, Patti got a kidney from someone who had such a great life, he decided to give back.

The man's name is John Houlihan.  Ironically, he's as big of a Patriots fan as she is a fan of the Eagles.
