Everclear Coming To Bangor, Maine In August

Earlier today, we got word that 1990s & early-2000s rockers Everclear will be doing a show at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on August 25th, 2022.

Everclear will be joined by the band Lit

Bangor's Hollywood Casino has partnered with the Cross Insurance Center to put on the show.

In the press release, Hollywood Casino president and general manager Austin Muchemore was quoted as saying:

Hollywood Casino is very excited to work with the Cross Insurance Center to bring this tour to Bangor, Both bands hit it big in the 90s with high energy and impactful music that has resonated throughout the years. The two bands combined will put on a great show and we’re looking forward to bringing their energy to Downtown Bangor.

According to the press release, Everclear formed in Portland, Oregon in the early 1990s.  Their breakthrough album, 1995's Sparkle and Fade, featured the massive hit Santa Monica.  Later, they had hits with songs like "AM Radio", "Will Buy You A New Life", and "Father of Mine".

Lit is probably best known for their song "My Own Worst Enemy".
