It’s all happening in downtown Waterville. What is it you ask that’s happening?  

This place is about to get a big old dose of post apocalyptic Mad Max energy with Victorian flair, introducing The Fallout of The Steampunk Fair!

Happening from June 13–15, 2025.

The World Steampunk Enthusiasts are hosting this event in partnership with Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce.

It's going to be a magical, futuristic party for all ages and guess what? It’s completely free to attend!  

The event will all be kicking off with an incredible 21 plus Steampunk Dance on Friday, June 13th at Silver Street Tavern. 

What can you expect at the Steampunk Fair?

Corsets, brass goggles and a tavern filled with incredible steam punk decor.

Silver Streets basement will be the location for the dance, which is extremely fitting to the vibe and go from 7:00pm- Midnight.  

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, all of Castonguay Square will turn into the heart of the fair with vendors, live music and entertainment, a steampunk fashion contest and a don’t miss the Facial Follicle Challenge, open to both men and woman!  

Yes ladies, if you have super long hair that you can swoop around to the front to create an incredible beard or mustache, this wild event is calling your name.

And you cannot miss Jeff’s Traveling Boards of Wonders which is a unique attraction that adds even more whimsical layers to the whole steampunk vibe.

It’ll fun from 10:00am – 4:00pm each day, this weekend is a fun opportunity to step into another world.
