The Family Violence Project and many area restaurants and musical artists in central Maine are joining forces in October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. They will be helping to raise awareness and funds for the FVP.

Also, Wednesday October 1, there will be a 'Community Speak Out Against Domestic Violence' forum at Thomas College, Waterville from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. You are welcome to join the discussion of domestic violence with the focus on the recent events with the NFL.
