Even if you didn't take advantage of getting your Free COVID Testing Kit back in September, they will be offering it again, according to the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response.

Many of us are tired of hearing the word and even thinking about the terrible days of quarantine, however, the program is offering free testing kits. But why?

As per the site, the tests are being offered again to help Mainers and the rest of the country and "will detect current COVID-19 variants and can be used through the end of the year."

The ASPR states that the tests will be available at the end of September to order 4 free COVID rapid tests. The tests will be delivered directly to your home. There isn't an exact date yet.

The tests will be free, with no need for a credit card or bank account number. All you have to do is give your name and shipping address.

You can also enter your email for delivery updates.

You'll be able to equest your kits soon.

Please remember that the federal government will not try to get in touch with you via phone or email, so if someone is representing them, do your research before opening or clicking.

A lot of scammers start to circulate as free items are distributed by the government. If someone tries to get personal information or payment information from you, it is probably a scam.
