Hey Augusta Parents…there will be free school meal delivery in Augusta the week after Thanksgiving when Augusta Schools are FULL REMOTE, and the kids are at home.

The Augusta School Nutrition offers free school meal delivery to Augusta children 18 & under on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. That will be 2 days of breakfasts and lunches on each delivery day.

If you would like school meals delivered to children in your household the week after Thanksgiving when all classes will be remote learning, you MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE FORM for each child.

You need to do this sooner rather than later…because you need to complete the form for each child you are requesting meals no later than Sunday, November 22, 2020. You have to do this so they can plan.

The meals will be delivered approximately between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. The meals will be dropped off at the address you provide, and if you are not able to be outside to meet the bus when it stops at your address, you must leave a cooler, box, tote, or some receptacle for them to leave your meals in; otherwise, they will not leave meals at your address.

So Augusta parents…go to the Augusta School Department website or Facebook page to fill out the online FORM and sign up for the meal delivery the week after Thanksgiving when classes are 100% remote learning.

OH, while you are there...there is information about the extension of the Free Meals Program for Kids to the end of June of 2021..check that out.
