Thanks to the quick thinking of the owner of Gardiner's A1 Diner, Aaron Harris, we have some pretty unbelievable video of the moments a water main in Gardiner.

According to the KJ, during construction under Bridge Street, an excavator from McGee Construction accidentally came in contact with, and broke, a major water main under the bridge. This happened around 9:30 yesterday morning causing 13 customers to lose water for a couple hours and several others to lose water pressure. Residents in Gardiner are expected to be under a precautionary boil order until Saturday.

There will be no added costs to the city of Gardiner as McGee construction will be absorbing the damage costs, haha I said absorbing, which are estimated to be between five and ten thousand dollars.
