Happy Boss’ Day to a Principal Adored by All!

Surprise! That's Jennifer McGee, principal at the Atwood Primary School, got when she came into the school today (Boss' Day)....

It seems she, or rather her office, had been foiled. Being the good sport she is, she took it all in stride and, clearly, got a good laugh out of it. Love the attitude, Jennifer!

Let this be a "learning moment," as they would say in school. A learning moment for bosses everywhere on this Boss' Day. Have fun, laugh, make your subordinates feel at ease and you will have a happy and productive crew. If, as a boss, you command respect by fear or being a stern, unapproachable person, you're doing it wrong. I don't care how many degrees you have. College doesn't teach you to be a good person. It either comes natural or you need to learn it on your own.

Might I be so bold as to recommend "How to Win Friends and Influence People," by the late Dale Carnegie? It doesn't matter how you manage people. You can benefit from reading this!

By the looks of it, Jennifer McGee has either read it or just comes by it naturally!
