Dare to Enter? Lewiston, Maine’s Haunted Barn is Almost Here
Okay, I know it's just the beginning of September, but in my book, the minute this glorious month arrives in Maine, it's officially time to let fall rain down on us with all its spooky glory!
There's nothing better than jumping headfirst into the season of ghouls and ghosts. And let’s be real, Maine does it best!
With so many hauntingly fun events to choose from, you'll need every bit of these two months to plan it out your calendar.
The first event that has piqued my interest for the Halloween season is the "Haunted Barn" at Apple Valley Golf Course. I have been told that this barn is absolutely terrifying and a must-see attraction.
According to the event, it's time to save the dates for the Haunted Barn.
When is the Haunted Barn in Maine?
The weekends of October 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26 from 6 pm to 9 pm. The cost is $10 per person at 316 Pinewoods Road in Lewiston, as per the flyer.
This is so cool because I myself have never been to a haunted attraction inside a barn! Barns are so spooky.

All I can imagine are the creaky floorboards with shadows hiding behind the old farm tools, watching you. Imagine the constant feeling of something or someone watching you in an old barn.
I will be attending this year's Haunted Barn and reporting back all of the spooks! Are you in?
