Here’s Why We’re Playing Classic Rock & Country on 92 Moose

In short, because today is the Requestathon for Special Olympics Maine! You know the drill by now, right? I mean, we've been doing this event for nearly 20 years here at 92 Moose. All day long (9-18-2020) we will be taking your requests for a $20 minimum donation to our cause. That request can be literally anything.

So sure, you will definitely hear some classic rock and country today, but you'll also hear some pop, hip hop, rap, funk, disco and more! Typically the Requestathon happens in June and runs in conjunction with the Maine Law Enforcement Torch Run that carries the Olympic torch from Southern Maine all the way up to Sugarloaf to the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics. However, due to 2020 being super 2020ish, we've had to make some changes to the schedule. Either way, we're going to have a freakin' blast today so make sure you join in on the fun and, whatever you do, don't turn off your radio. You never know what (or who) you're going to hear!
