Le Club Calumet’s 6th Annual $100,000 Hole-in-One Shootout Returns
One of Augusta’s unique summer traditions is returning for another year, giving golfers a chance to take a swing at $100,000 while supporting the Augusta Food Bank.
Le Club Calumet will host its 6th Annual $100,000 Hole-in-One Shootout on Saturday, Aug. 15, from noon to 5 p.m. at 334 West River Road in Augusta.
What makes the annual fundraiser stand out is the course itself. Le Club Calumet designed and built its own 115-yard golf hole specifically for the event. Each year, participants come from around the area to grab a club, take their best shot and see how close they can get to the pin.
Throughout the afternoon, golfers will compete for a coveted spot in the final round. The 10 participants who hit their shots closest to the pin will advance to the shootout, where they’ll each have a chance to sink a hole-in-one for $100,000.
But the event is about more than landing the perfect shot.
Over the past five years, Le Club Calumet’s Hole-in-One Shootout has raised more than $45,000 for the Augusta Food Bank, and this year’s event will once again bring the community together to help support the organization.
Those looking to get a few extra swings can take advantage of the Early Birdie Special from noon to 2 p.m., with four balls for $10. From 2 to 5 p.m., participants can take three shots for $10.
There will also be plenty to enjoy away from the tee, including hot dogs, burgers, a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction and more.
Whether you’re hoping to make the $100,000 shot, compete for a spot among the final 10 or simply spend a summer afternoon supporting a local cause, the annual event gives everyone a reason to come out and take a swing.
The 6th Annual $100,000 Hole-in-One Shootout takes place Saturday, Aug. 15, from noon to 5 p.m. at Le Club Calumet, 334 West River Road in Augusta.
