Okay, I didn't believe this when I heard it. I like 75-80% ground beef for the grill because, to me, it tastes much better (even though it's not better for me, probably).

"Press your thumb into the center of the patty," my daughter, Michelle, said.

I chuckled out loud at the suggestion but did it anyway just to bust the myth.

What happened surprised me. The meat cooked up just fine and didn't seem to shrink at all!
