We love supporting Special Olympics Maine and the Maine Law Enforcement Torch Run every year on the Moose during our annual 'Request-a-thon.' Through the years, with your help, we have raised tens of thousands of dollars. Now, we get to help out with another exciting event. It's the third annual 'Ice Out Plunge.'

Join us Saturday, April 2 at 12N, at Winthrop Town Beach, Maranacook Lake. Registration opens at 9:30am at the Winthrop American Legion Post 40.

The 'Ice Out' theme relates to the time frame when the ice finally clears on the Lakes in Maine. The water will still be frigid but should be cleared enough for the brave plungers.

In order to participate in the plunge, each person must raise a minimum of $100. Incentives apply for monies raised & turned in at registration. The plunge is open to everyone aged 8 and older. You can enter as an individual or as a team (5 or more plungers.)

There will be grand prizes and new incentives this year. You can sign up and get more details, here: Ice Out Plunge Registration.
