In recognition of breast cancer awareness month in October, should hunters be allowed to wear pink instead of blaze orange in the woods?

The legislature is considering LD-242 right now, introduced by Representative Ricky Long of Sherman, and co-sponsored by Democrats Archie Verow of Brewer and Stephen Stanley of Medway.

David Trahan of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine says SAM will get behind it if pink is proven to be as effective.

There will be a hearing today (2/24) at 1 o'clock in room 206 at the State House.
