It’s ‘National Teddy Bear Day’ – What Was Your Go-To Toy as a Baby/Toddler?

Today, September 9th is ‘National Teddy Bear Day’. A day to salute Teddy Ruxpin, Pooh bear, Build-a-Bear and bears we held as children.

Maybe it wasn’t a bear you had as a kid. Vikki has "Teddy" but our two boys had other security favorites as babies and toddlers.

Dylan had a blanket he carried around. It was part of the set for the crib Lynn got as a gift at her baby shower when he was an infant. We still I think have a piece of it somewhere in the house. It was his “bears and squares” blanket.

Justin had a beanie baby type cow. He actually had two cows exactly the same. We still have the original known as “Stinky Cow” and a second just like it, named “New Cow.” Both cows are pretty dilapidated now but the original, “Stinky Cow,” we're giving to Justin’s wife on their wedding day.

I had a Curious George monkey as a baby which I still have today. It’s over 40 years old now and is being kept in a safe place, however when Vikki sees it she claims it as her own.
