According to an article on the WCSH 6 website, police are investigating a body that was found on Wednesday in Lake Auburn.

The article explains that the body was recovered from Lake Auburn on Wednesday morning.  Auburn Police and Fire crews were called to the area of 166 Lake Shore Drive around 8:17 AM after a passing motorist reported seeing a person floating in the water, and rescuers launched a boat from the Route 4 landing to recover the body.

The person is believed to be a 46-year-old Auburn man, though his identity has not been released pending notification of family.

The body was taken to a local funeral home for examination, and while the investigation remains ongoing, police say there are no signs of foul play.
