How big is your house?

I've lived in every conceivable home size. To be fair, I've never lived in a tiny house, but I used to have a studio apartment back in the day that would pretty much fit that bill. These days, I feel blessed to have enough space that my wife and I can spread out and feel like we each have some of our own private space.

But what would do if you had a house with over 14,000 square feet? That's like 7 of my houses. In the town if Brooklin, there's a gigantic house up for sale right now, listed by Souzan Davood of Coldwell Banker Realty. It's formally called Boldwater, and was built in 1980. Despite that, it has a very old-world, Victorian quality to it.

Boldwater has some cool history.

Currently, the house belongs to former Tahitian actress Louise Tefaafana Murfey. She and her late husband built the house in 1980. Her husband was Spencer Latham Murfey Jr., a millionaire who was also an avid ocean racer. They built the house out of their mutual love for all things nautical, according to Boston.com.

Just in the main house, there are 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, several living rooms, and all kinds of other features. There's even an elevator! But of course, the biggest feature of the house is the absolutely stunning ocean views. Everything seems to be built around being able to see the water.

Despite its size, there are two guest houses on the 38-acre property as well. So if somehow, you can't fit everyone in the house, you've got those as well. Plus, there's a pool, a private pond, and even an orchard and a greenhouse. This place literally has it all. Including a pretty reasonable price tag of $9,000,000. Considering everything involved, you'd expect to pay a lot more than that.

But, let's just go ahead and let the house speak for itself. The only problem I can find, is that you'll wish you were rich enough to afford it. So let's check it out, shall we?
