The energy is building and the anticipation is becoming an itch you must scratch as the Maine Mayhem Woman's Football team prepares for opening day!

Remember, these ladies are Maine's only full contact football team. Yea.

They are getting ready to kick off their 2026 season in Lewiston with a powerful message: this is more than a game, it's a movement.

They are opening at home on Saturday, April 25th at Lewiston High School. The Mayhem will gave off against the Tri-State Warriors at 6:00pm for kick off.

The team is calling on all of us in Maine to support, show up, and scream 'til your lungs bleed.

This year's home opener is themed "Neon Night," encouraging all of us fans to wear bright colors, bring glow sticks, and literally light up the stands!

Let's turn Lewiston into a sea of black and purple, while cheering on a team that deserves the praise. Why? Well, beyond the lights and energy, there's a deep story here guys.

The Maine Mayhem are entering the seasons with new coaches, new roster, and a wave of rookies that are more than ready to make there mark.

It's a season of growth, evolution, and unity. There goal is that Woman's football continues to rise in visibility. But, in order to help them succeed we must support and show up.
