Nutty Netties Cafe Closes Its Court Street Location in Auburn, Maine
Well, Auburn friends, we have some unfortunate café news.
Nutty Netties Café has closed its 34 Court Street location, about a year after opening its doors there in 2025.
The sad announcement was made via Facebook recently.
The Court Street location officially opened in 2025, giving Nutty Netties a second spot in Auburn and another place for people to grab their coffee, breakfast and café favorites.
In the social media post making the announcement, it was revealed that the difficult decision did not come lightly:
"Over the past several months, with personal and health challenges affecting myself and our family, we have reached a point where we have to make a different kind of sacrifice: We have to let go of something we love so that we can be there for the people we love most. That hurts more than we can explain. But there is also peace in knowing that we are choosing each other. To everyone who supported Nutty Nettie’s at 34 Court St— thank you. You weren’t simply customers. You were part of a chapter of our family’s life that we will never forget."
The good news? Nutty Nettie’s is NOT closing altogether. So if you’re already thinking, “Wait… where am I getting my Nutty Nettie’s fix?!”, you still can.
The 730 Center Street location remains open. That location actually opened in March after Nutty Netties moved from its previous home at 550 Center Street at the mall.

It's no surprise to see the flood of comments expressing sadness at the closing and the well wishes to the family.
The cafe has clearly made an impact in the community.
And luckily, even though the Court Street location is closed, Nutty Netties isn't going anywhere. See you at 730 Center Street!
Correction: An earlier version of this story used a featured image of the Center Street location for Nutty Netties. The Center Street location remains open. The Court Street location is closed.
