It's always cool when somebody from Maine (or a good boy in this case), gets nationally recognized. You may have seen this familiar handsome K9 by the name of Kari in the Bangor International Airport, keeping your flights safe.

Kari's hard work as a part of the National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program alongside Officer Mike Brennan from the Bangor Maine Police Department has official paid off! Recently seen on Good Morning America, Kari has just made his national debut with a spot in the 2024 TSA Canine Calendar.

You've heard of Mc.Dreamy from Grey's Anatomy (IYKYK)? Well, consider Kari the Mc.Dreamy of doggos. He was named 'Mr. February', and everybody is so excited about it.

Mr. Mans is a seven-year-old Belgian Malinois known for indulging in Ritz peanut butter crackers as treats. Ironically, my three-year-old golden doodle, Maverick, ALSO loves his peanut butter Ritz.

People always have a reason behind the name they chose for their pup, and Kari was named for the "Nordic God of Wind and Water". Sheesh, and my dog Maverick is just over here named after my favorite movie, Top Gun.

I've heard from word of mouth how loved this pupper is at the Bangor Airport, so it's really adorable to see him make more humans fall in love with him on a national level.

If you've made it this far in this article, do you remember when a dog from Bangor peed on a Christmas tree? Surprise! That was him. He's amazing on all fronts. He's got handsome looks AND a personality.
