Okay, enough of the digression. When it comes to colored porch lights, there are a number of different reasons and meaning. The one you may have heard a lot about in recent years are the green ones. Many people in Maine and beyond display green bulbs to show their support for members of the United States military.

When it comes to blue lights, the idea is very similar. Only instead of the color green for military the color blue is for law enforcement.
