Stand by Ben: Maine Community Unites for Benefit Dinner & Auction
Our beautiful community is doing some so kind and generous for a family in need. Ben Heaberlin was involved in a serious accident just before Christmas of 2024.
According to his GoFundMe page, Ben's accident took place while checking a roof leak at his home in Winslow, Maine. After a major fall, he was life-flighted to Maine Medical Center. He underwent a craniectomy to relieve pressure from multiple brain bleeds.
Ben's recovery will be long and uncertain and as per the post, "What is clear, is that his road to recovery will not be short or easy."
