Even though most people do the majority of their shopping at big box stores or online, there is something to be said about the adventure of hitting the road on a Saturday morning to go "Yard Saling".  Even better than traveling from sale-to-sale is making a visit to one of Maine's many flea markets.

If flea markets are your thing, you'll love this...  Maine's largest flea market has set a re-opening date.

According to Only In Your State, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Woolwich's Montsweag Flea Market was closed in 2020.  Now, we're hearing they plan to re-open for the 2021 season on May 15th.

The event has been around since 1977.  This makes it not only the largest flea market in Maine, but also one of (if not THE) oldest in the state.

One of the coolest features of the flea market is the fact that it has an ATM.  So, if you find a bunch of stuff you want, or you find one pricier item, and you don't have cash, you can just make a withdrawal.

The flea market is open Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 AM to 2 PM.  The event typically runs from mid-May through mid-October.  You can find it in a massive field at 6 Hunnewell Lane in Woolwich.  It is just off Route 1.

If you want a spot, they are only $15!  You can get more details by sending them a message through Facebook or give them a call at 207.443.2809.
