Maine Flu Season In Full Swing – Is There An Outbreak Near You?
According to the KJ, the flu is widespread in Maine.
As of Saturday (January 4th), there were nearly 1,300 reported cases of influenza in the State of Maine since the start of flu season.
For those who don't know, flu season officially runs from October through May.
Over the course of the 2018 / 2019 flu season, there were over 10,000 reported cases in Maine.
So far, the hardest hit counties in Maine include Cumberland, York, Waldo, Kennebec, Penobscot, Knox, and Aroostook.
