Maine Girl Finds Lost Ring… In Garlic?
You'll never guess where Madison Cooper's ring turned up.
According to WCSH 6, the 12 year old Wiscasset girl was devastated when she lost a ring that had been given to her grandmother by her late-grandfather in 2012. Back in October, she had been planting garlic planets at the Chewonki Foundation. It appears that ring slipped off her finger while she was planting the pungent plants.
Nine months later, Hannah Marshall was harvesting the garlic when she saw something shiny. At first, she thought it was trash. Taking a closer look, she realized it was a ring wrapped around the garlic plant.
