Maine Man Taken Into Custody Friday Morning After Firing Shots Near School During Dispute With Neighbor
A Maine man has been taken into custody following an apparent dispute with neighbors that led to shots fired.
According to an article from WGME 13, police in Saco, Maine are saying that there was an argument between neighbors in the area of Hutchins Street near the campus of Maine's Thornton Academy.
Saco Police tell the news station that calls began to come in at about 7:30 this morning in response to several shots being fired near the school. Officers immediately responded to the area and, upon their initial investigation, determined that Eugene D'Alessandro Jr, of Saco, was the person who had allegedly discharged a weapon multiple times.
Police arrested the man and charged him with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
Additionally, police are letting the public know that there is no longer a threat in the area and that the situation has been fully resolved.
D'Alessandro was transported and booked into the York County Jail.
